
* Switch system on the Windows XP CD. In case you have your computer set the BIOS to boot from the hard drive, you must first enter the BIOS and set the CD first start.
* When you are prompted, press Enter to install Windows XP.
* Once you press F8 to accept the license agreement (EULA), should be detected current installed system.
* Press R to repair the system.
* Necessary system files will be copied to the hard drive, then after a restart.
* Leave the system to boot normally from the hard drive, no CD, and the process continues.
Doing this will replace critical system files, but it is possible that some updates not to work so they must be reinstalled.
