HP DV6000 NO POWER WHEN AC ADAPTER CONNECTED

HOW TO REPAIR HP PAVILION DV6000
Let me say that i`m a beginner in repairing this kind of probleme but guess what i manage to repair one probleme that many people search on the web how to restore it or repair it.OK  no more talking.

This is a standard Pic. of HP DV6000.
The probleme with this hp( my hp) is that when i recive it the guy told me he saw smoke coming out of this hp. O.o WHAT? i ask him a lot of smoke? he told me no just a little smoke.
I know the general probleme for this hp.

All the HP DV series got probleme with the head sink they get hot GPU fail story of my life.

This is the hp that i`m working on .it was disassembled and was only with the bottom case head sink and cooler ofc memory.
i use a external display because i did not wanted to keep the hp display near, i was cautious not to do something with it.
If you see in this picture that  i connected the power to notebook hp dv6 but i did not have a blue light that show me that the motherboar recive power from adapter. i verify the the adapter it was fine, i hade 2 just in case to swap them but this one was fine.

So like a beginner. take out the motherboard out and lets search with a multimeter. i did not now what i was looking for but i remembered that the guy told me that he saw smoke coming from the notebook so i search for something burn :D . guess what i did find it.the one in the right pic. its the new one.

I had a hp motherboard  identical and use it for spare parts, even now i still don`t know what that is.
i use a gordak air station to remove the faulty one and swap it with a the good one.
After 30 minutes of assembling, the notebook was done and I installed a clean OS on that HP DV6000( EU version).I hope this info will help someone with another one like this maybe other notebooks not hp. a big like for this and tell me if you like it.10x and bye
